Want to continue your dating talks? Confirm if you’re vaccinated first

If you’re someone waiting to find a match for you while using a dating app, then here’s what you need the most. GET VACCINATED. Yes, according to a popular report given by the famous dating app OkCupid, almost 763% of conversations are happening only around vaccination since March 2021. These conversations are mainly about if they got vaccinated or not which surely indicates that it is indeed a deal breaker as of now.

Now since people are already worried about if the other one is vaccinated or not, dating apps are now introducing a feature that says “I’m vaccinated”. It will be a batch that can be added to the bio of profiles. Of course, it requires the certificate for verification purposes.

As per OkCupid-  “As of June 2021, 69 per cent men and 71 per cent women [on OkCupid] say they would take the Covid vaccine. Compared to only 15 per cent men and 13 per cent women who admit to being averse to the idea of getting themselves vaccinated,”.

“The badge appears in-profile and is expected to result in a 35 per cent increase in match rate with others who are either vaccinated or getting vaccinated soon,” he added.

“While the vaccination feature on bio is pretty new, we’re seeing the excitement around it. Almost 30 percent of new users have added this badge to their profile and as more people get vaccinated, we should see this number go up,” Ravi Mittal, founder & CEO, QuackQuack, adds.

Woo, a women-centric dating app said- “More than 60 percent of our users are willing to go on date with someone who has received at least the first dose of the vaccination. Within a month, 19 percent of our users have already received their vaccination badges and should reach close to 40 percent by July 15,”.
