Dating app Hinge launches date from home feature

Because of the lockdown in almost all the countries affected from COVID-19 pandemic, people are not able to go out and indeed, it is affecting their dating life. But that doesn’t mean you should be all alone. You still can date and meet people. The famous dating app Hinge has launched a new feature Date from home which can for sure make your quarantine time easier.

The Chief Product officer Tim MacGougan from Hinge said- “While we may need to be physically distant right now, we can still be socially connected. We are excited for the launch of ‘Date from Home’ as a new and easy way for our users to continue their dating lives,”

In this feature, when you are chatting with someone, you will be asked by the app if you are interested to take it on a phone call or a video call. If you want, you will be matched. Also, if you think that you shouldn’t make the first move, don’t worry, it will be confidential. It will not be told to anyone who made a first move as the video call or phone call will only start if both the people hit right. You can simply change the response if you don’t find the person is good or not.
